The Cholla are just starting to bloom here on the farm. We have color surrounding us. The birds are singing and the rabbits are jumping. Luckily, the fence is keeping them out of the lavender field.

We have a great deal of it growing in the field. It is such a beautiful ground cover and helps with soil conservation we just leave it it. The lavender sure happy today! They are happily getting watered by the new irrigation system and the rabbits cannot get in thanks to the new fence. Thank you Kevin Walton for coming from Denver to help us build the fence.
