digging trenches

We are starting to dig the trench for the array. The array will hopefully come in December. the trench is hard to dig. It is teaching us a big lesson about the lavender. First, the land is not sandy loam, it is caliche clay. It will not support the lavender without us amending it A GREAT DEAL! OH MY it is never easy. We will also be looking at a tractor and a used truck.
